Why does northern Colorado seem to stay ahead of the rest of the country in recession

Saving $30,000/year in private school tuition and $10,000 a year in property tax can save people big money when moving to Northern Colorado. Even if our home prices are higher than where they’re coming from, the total cost of living is often lower if they’re coming from a place where they felt the need to do private schooling.
